This is some audience feedback for the trailer we have at the moment. As the student says, the trailer is too long and not thrilling enough. We are taking this on board and we are going to use shot-reverse-shots in order to create more tension in our trailer.
We have also noticed that we need more symbolism in the units of media. Emily, the main female character is going to wear a provocative top in order to follow stereotypes whereby women who wear these types of clothes are labelled as 'vulnerable'. We are also going to give her costume some red colouring to create connotations of danger. This is a common feature within a thriller film and we are using it to show that red can sometimes be confused with love and passion.
