This is a semiotic analysis of the film 'The Girl On The Train'. Here, I have used similar techniques in analysing the trailer. I have identified features such as the audience of the film that is revealed with the conventions such as violence and crime scenes. This will also help us in making our trailer as we will also be focusing on violence.
