This is a semiotic analysis of the film trailer for 'Gone Girl'. Within this, I have demonstrated my knowledge of different semiotic analysis skills such as identifying the genre through the conventions used. The film is a thriller/ crime movie which is similar to the genre of our movie trailer. This has enabled us to understand what conventions we will need to use in our work.
